In MMT, we attempt to combine the best elements of MM6 through MM9, and the older episodes haven't been forgotten. There will also be improvements to some gameplay features and some brand new ideas.
Mostly non-linear questing despite a leading storyline
A total of 15 outdoors maps with dozens of dungeons
More than 50 quests, many of them extremely original
A party size chosen at startup, from a single character up to a maximum of 5
Six playable races each with their own advantages and weaknesses independent of class, a title to gain and special abilities
Classes independent of race with several new ones like the Runemaster
A promotion system as in MM9, based on specialization
A dialogue system more advanced than that of MM9
A reputation system that greatly affects NPC attitudes to the party
An Alchemy skill and lots of potions
A few new skills like Music and Grey Magic
A spell system slightly more elaborate than MM6-8's, with some new spells
A homebase for the party (not a Castle, but something just as interesting!)
A tavern game (not Arcomage, but a game of our own devising)
An obelisk treasure
